Jessica Alba : Summer Girl Of ‘Bazaar’ !

Making for the perfect cover girl choice to kick off the new year, Jessica Alba adorns the front page of January/February 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia.

The brunette beauty posed in an array of Louis Vuitton ensembles for the Land Down Under magazine while currently promoting her just-released box office topping comedy “Little Fockers”.

Here’s what Jess had to share :

On changing her perspective : “I’ve learned to forgive myself for not being perfect and not stressing myself. I have had a reputation for being fiercely protective of my independence. My daughter has put everything in perspective for me. You stop being selfish and driven in such a narrow personal sense, and you want to build a life for yourself and your family. I tended to be a workaholic in the past and now I don’t feel that kind of self-imposed stress anymore.”

On her family changed her : “My husband and my daughter are my world. Together we want to build a truly loving and beautiful family. I’m very traditional in that sense. When Honor was born, I also felt that it was a good time to change many things. I was always the type of woman who tried to please other people and do everything right. Putting that kind of pressure on yourself isn’t healthy for you in the long run. It wears you down.”

Jessica Alba went on a stroll with her husband Cash Warren and their adorable daughter Honor on Sunday (December 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 29-year-old actress was also joined by some other family members as they ate brunch and did some post-Christmas shopping.

Jessica Alba was busy tending to her last-minute Christmas grocery shopping needs in West Hollywood on Friday (December 24).

The brunette beauty toted daughter Honor Marie while also joined by her mother as the trio roamed the aisles at Trader Joe’s, grabbing up some wine and chatting to a friend during the course of the outing.

Picking up a few gifts, Jessica Alba was out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (December 23).

The “Little Fockers” babe hit up the Opening Ceremony store after having lunch at a nearby sushi restaurant with a gal pal.

Kirsten Dunst : ‘LadyLike’ On BlackBook

Kirsten Dunst was stunning in Louis Vuitton on the cover of BlackBook magazine’s December 2010/January 2011 issue!

Here’s what the 28-year-old All Good Things actress had to share with editor Nick Haramis:

On the importance of her All Good Things role: ““I used to assume that I’d do this forever, and then there came a point in my life when I was like, Why am I doing this at all? With All Good Things, I realized that acting is what I’m meant to be doing, and not for the money or to make a hit, but because I love it. For the first time, acting became more about me than everybody else, and that was amazingly cathartic.”

On checking into rehab in 2008 to deal with depression: “My friends and family were put in a position where they had to defend me, and it was an awful time… On a personal level, I would talk to anybody about it, but not on a public level. If I do that, then the next person feels like they can ask me about it, and the person after that, until everyone then feels entitled to ask me about it, and that’s not coming from a good place.”

On reading celeb blogs: “I like JustJared because he’s never mean….that’s the one gossip site I’ll go to…..I’m usually like, ‘What’s going on? What are people doing? Oh my god, I can’t believe that!’”

Paz de la Huerta : ‘Stripped’ On Paper Winter

Boardwalk Empire star Paz de la Huerta covers herself as she poses topless on the cover of Paper magazine’s Winter 2010-2011 issue, on newsstands today (December 13)!

Here’s what the 26-year-old actress had to share:

On nudity: “Nudity is a non-issue for me. Sex is a huge part of life. To pretend it’s not is being a liar, and people who are afraid of their sexuality are suffering.”

On being expelled from school after fighting back against bullies: “I broke a chair over a girl’s head. That was it. I thought it was a horrible school. They had some evil teachers. I always hated school.”

On wanting to move to Europe someday: “They write roles for mature women in Europe. Americans — they don’t get it. They make women look ugly. Then they all make fun of them. It’s really a cruel culture. I’m half European and I feel more European than American inside. I’m a Spanish woman. I’m in the wrong country and wrong era.”

Emily Blunt : Bazaar January ‘Exotic’

Emily Blunt looked breath-taking on the January 2011 cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK wearing an electric blue embroidered silk dress by Tom Ford.

The rest of her editorial which was shot by Paola Kudacki sees her wearing more Spring 2011 looks including a two tone Gucci dress, an orange Haider Ackermann dress, a tangerine YSL jumpsuit and another dress by Tom Ford.

The full feature appears in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK which is on sale December 6, but here are some extracts from her interview.

On adjusting to fame: “I used to look like a deer in headlights on the red carpet. You step out of the car and it’s bedlam. Everyone’s got crazy eyes. Now, I have a martini before I leave – just to take the edge off it.”

On her husband “The Office” star John Krasinski: “Yes, he’s the funniest man in the world to most, but especially to me.”

On her very public relationship and subsequent split from singer Michael Buble: “It’s why I don’t ever talk about John. When you’re in love, you’re so happy that you want to tell people about it. But now I have to censor myself. You need to protect the happiness you have.”

On how she relaxes: “In my downtime, I cook a mean roast chicken, and if I need to let off steam, I go dancing.”

Freida Pinto : Heats Up GQ India

Freida Pinto held a pomegranate in one hand and a knife in the other on the cover of GQ India’s December issue.

The issue, which calls the 26-year-old actress “India’s Hottest Export,” features the same story and quotes from the U.S. edition of GQ back in October.

Here’s what ‘Miral’ actress had to share :

On Slumdog Millionaire’s massive popularity: “I felt like people almost got fed up with seeing our faces splattered all over the place.”

On her fear of missing out on challenging roles: “In [Slumdog], Jamal says, ‘She’s the most beautiful girl in the world.’ I was like, Damn it. That’s gonna be the end for me. I’m not going to get anything serious after that!”

On working with directors Woody Allen and Julian Schnabel: “Woody is someone I really respect, because he’s a legend, but it’s not like I got to know everything about his life. With Julian—we ended up sharing a very kind of personal relationship. Almost that of a father-daughter.”

Amy Adams : Marie Claire ‘Innocent’

Amy Adams showe off her hot post-baby body on the cover of Marie Claire’s January issue.

Here’s what the 36-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On her new movie The Fighter: “What’s funny is that some people who’ve seen it have said, ‘Amy, you’re finally playing yourself!’ It’s not that she’s like me. It’s just that she’s less naive.”

On husband Darren Le Gallo: “[He’s] not competitive with me, which is great. That just wouldn’t work. We’re a family, and he’s really embraced his role as a father [to our 7-month-old daughter Aviana].

On choosing roles: “I’ve never really been too concerned with how I’ve looked on-screen. And I’ve never really played a stylish, modern, glamorous girl. But with these last two movies [The Fighter and On the Road] I’ve done, I was raw. I hope that’s the journey I’m on. It just feels more honest.”

Ashley Greene : ‘Ballsy’ On Cosmopolitan January

Ashley Greene rocked a tied up tummy on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine’s January 2011 issue.

The 23-year-old actress, who is currently dating Joe Jonas, shared her thoughts on getting married with the mag.

On marriage: “I’m indifferent about marriage. I think sometimes people get married so they can say they have that person forever, but a ring doesn’t ensure that you’ll stay together.” Then she added: “Watch, now that I’ve said that I will be the first of my friends to get married!”
