Look Of The Week : Angelina, Katy, Wilde, Beau, Eva, Carey, Ricci, Saoirse, Emma, Anne, Zaldana, Wright

She hasn’t been spotted on a red carpet since “Salt’s” debut last summer, but Angelina Jolie made a triumphant return to the arrivals line Monday night at the world premiere of “The Tourist.” The box office beauty oozed glamour in her Atelier Versace gown — which featured a sexy, thigh-high slit — Ferragamo heels, simple earrings, and a dramatic ‘do.

Katy Perry appeared at another star-studded premiere that same night. The pop songstress strutted her stuff in an ethereal Elie Saab gown during the Los Angeles debut of “The Tempest,” which features her new hubby, Russell Brand.

Across the pond at the London premiere of “Tron: Legacy,” Olivia Wilde turned heads in a multi-colored Giorgio Armani dress, black Stella McCartney pumps, and jewels courtesy of Tiffany.

Olivia Wilde was also glowing at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Tron: Legacy. The actress channeled her inner disco diva by donning a gold sequined Pucci gown, which featured a keyhole neckline.

Right behind Olivia in the arrivals line … fellow “TRON: Legacy” looker Beau Garrett, who nearly upstaged her co-star in a burnt orange Giambattista Valli gown and nude platform peep-toes.

Meanwhile in Marrakech, Morocco (at the country’s international film festival), actress Eva Mendes attended the Tribute to the French Cinema in a golden Christian Dior gown. Freshly highlighted locks and an amber cocktail ring completed her flawless look.

Eva dialed down her sexy look for a very pretty look at the official photocall for the 2010 Marrakech Film Festival. She wore an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 dress. The white silk voile and lace embroidered dress was accented with a black ribbon. Nude pumps completed her 3rd look of this film festival.

Carey Mulligan has gone from strength to strength in the style department and her latest gown-outing at the BIFAs in London proved her winning credentials! Working a stunning red Prabal Gurung gown with ruffled corsage bodice, Ms Mulligan picked up the Best Actress Award for her role in Never Let Me Go. Carey, we salute you!

Carey Mulligan was spectacular in a floor-length Erdem gown and a bouffant beehive at the King’s Speech gala in Dubai. We love the fact that she’s eschewed all jewellery save a cocktail ring and kept make-up to a minimum to let the dress really do the talking.

Around the corner at the 2010 New York Stage and Film Winter Gala, Christina Ricci dropped jaws in an ombre-and-lace Zac Posen halter dress. The perfect hairdo, smoky eyes, and Yves St. Laurent patent leather pumps completed her flawless look.

Gorgeous Irish actress Saoirse Ronan paired an ethereal nude dress with chunky black heels at the Paris premiere of her new film, The Way Back. The stunning 16-year-old paired the edgy look with a very interesting hairstyle.

Emma Roberts — who you’ll soon see on the big screen in “Scream 4” — attended the 2010 British Independent Film Awards in a surprisingly affordable maxi dress, which retails for $160 at Topshop. What a steal!

Anne Hathaway sparkled in an embellished mini and patent leather sky-high heels at a “Love & Other Drugs” press conference in Sydney, Australia.

Is midnight blue the new black? Avatar star Zoe Saldana attended the Children’s Defense Fund gala in LA working a divine deep blue layered minidress with sheer shoulder detailing. She gave her look plenty of leg with some stacked patent platform pumps. Perfect!

Harry Potter starlet Bonnie Wright was fashion-forward at a cocktail party celebrating the launch of the new Miu Miu flagship store on London’s Bond Street in a black dress with leafy detailing from the fashion house’s spring/summer collection and a pair of teal platform pumps. Quirky, cool and oh-so-pretty.

Jake Gyllenhaal & Anne Hathaway : ‘Sydney’ By Love

Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal shared a laugh on the red carpet at the Sydney, Australia premiere of their new movie, Love andOther Drugs on Monday (December 6).

Anne’s wearing a gold silk double georgette embroidered dress from Oscar de la Renta’s Spring 2011 collection paired with Jimmy Choo shoes. Jake suited up in Burberry!

She didn’t over accessorize the look, she just sported a beehive with a few pieces framing her face.

Anne Hathaway glows in a Christopher Kane mini alongside co-star Jake Gyllenhaal during a press conference at Welsh Bay in Sydney, Australia on Monday (December 6).

Loved the navy toned galaxy printed silk mini dress which has a delicate chiffon overlay. Anne also donned elegant studs with sunstones. It was the perfect way to highlight her long brunette curls.

IFP’s 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards

Proving that she can look like a million dollars in just about anything, “Black Swan” actress Natalie Portman wowed the crowd at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in a $199 one-shoulder Lanvin for H&M frock. The stylish star completed her look with black velvet heels, Tiffany & Co. earrings, and a silver studded Christian Dior clutch.

Joining Black Swan co-star and real-life pal Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis looked adorable in a navy Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 corset dress cinched with a studded belt.

Few stars could pull off this daring lace mini, but it was a stunning choice for Hilary Swank who paired it perfectly with leg-lengthening strappy heels and bouncy waves pushed back from the crown.

Anne Hathaway has been a red carpet whirlwind of late promoting her current film Love and Other Drugs, but she proved she still has a stunning dress or two up her sleeve as she stepped put in this figure-hugging vintage rose-print shift by Dolce & Gabbana.

We love nothing more than a girly girl working menswear. Check out Leighton Meester in this grey peg-legged suit and loose tie. The Gossip Girl actress softened the look with a pair of satin pumps and a green clutch back. Blair Waldorf wouldn’t be caught dead in this look but Leighton pulls it off with aplomb.

Winona Ryder had opted for an ultra-girlie look at the Gotham Film Awards in a ballerina-esque lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana completed with a wavy up-do and delicate kitten heels.

Redhead beauty Julianne Moore worked a funky draped feather-print mini, sheer plum-coloured tights and wavy locks at the night to celebrate the best in independent film.

While most of her fellow stars opted for mini lengths, Amanda Peet went boho chic for the Gotham Independent Film Awards in a sheer layered maxi topped with a neat velvet blazer.

Amber Tamblyn donned a neutral toned cocktail dress with a simple cut and a soft center front ruffle. Amber paired her loose bun with chain embellished earrings.

Julianna Margulies vamped up her black dress by Narciso Rodriguez with a swipe of tomato red lipstick.

Anne Hathaway : ‘Black & White’ Of Gotham !

Anne Hathaway strikes a sultry pose on the cover of Gotham magazine’s December 2010 issue!

The 28-year-old Love and Other Drugs actress was styled by Rachel Zoe for the shoot, where she modeled clothing and accessories by Jean Paul Gaultier, Brian Atwood and David Yurman!

Here’s what Anne had to share:

On having great chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal: “If you don’t have chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal, then there’s probably something wrong with you, because he is the most insanely charismatic man. All you have to do is listen to him and you’re instantly charmed.”

On a role she’d like to play in the future: “Pretty much all of Ibsen. Most Shakespeare. Most of the roles I’d love to play are in the theater. In terms of my career, I would like to kill an alien at some point. I would like to drive a spaceship and maybe be a spy. I’d like to kick a little a–.”

On something people don’t know about her: “I like to ride horses – it is pure joy. I can’t tolerate spicy food – I have a weak stomach. Oh, I am a terrible driver. Like, absolutely horrible. Like, absolutely horrible. Like, fear the road if I’m on it.”

Anne Hathaway wore a pair of high waisted flare jeans as she arrives at LAX airport on Tuesday (November 30). The 28-year-old Love and Other Drugs actress was joined at the airport by her boyfriend, Adam Shulman.

Anne’s wearing Elizabeth and James “Fairfax” sunglasses from the line’s first sunglasses collection! It was announced this week that Anne will be co-hosting the 2011 Oscars with James Franco!

Look Of The Week : Kim, Natalie, Carla, Halle, Hathaway, Alexa, Sarah, Beyonce, Krysten, Emma, Anna, Bosworth

Kim Kardashian chose a ’50s-chic gray sheath (with lace kick pleats!) for a Charmin event.  The entrepreneur should always go retro! The waist-enhancing silhouette of the vintage-inspired number flattered the multitasking star’s timeless curves.

Trust Natalie Portman to pick the simplest outfit and still be the most stunning gal in the room. The Black Swan actress was gorgeous in a little white dress with sheer overlay and bow-tie belt by John Galliano for Dior. A pair of black pumps and smokey eyes was all she needed to add drama to the look.

Carla Gugino stole the spotlight at the Los Angeles premiere of her new action flick, “Faster,” in a shimmering Georges Chakra Couture dress, matching peep-toes, and chic updo. Her outfit is a bit bold (and a bit ice skater-y), but we love it!

Looking radiant in white, Halle Berry wore a stunning strapless dress by Pamella Roland to the screening of her new movie Frankie & Alice in New York. A simple diamond jewel encrusted clutch was all she needed to add a little gleaming polish to her look.

Across the country at NYC’s highly anticipated “Love and Other Drugs” premiere, Anne Hathaway took a risk (that totally paid off) by sporting this cute ‘n’ classy Valentino dress, which featured floral tiers and an enchanting bow.

Alexa Chung moved away from her trademark preppy chic look for something a little more ladylike as she attended the premiere of Love and Other Drugs. The gorgeous Brit worked a delicate silk floral Valentino SS11 dress teamed with pretty bow heels.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s a lady who knows what works for her, and a tailored Vivienne Westwood dress was as-ever, the perfect fit at the Harry Potter New York premiere. The Sex and the City star elongated her petite frame with a volumous skirt that sits just above the ankle to reveal her eye-catching Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Beyonce Knowles looked marvelous in a beaded Naeem Khan mini and strappy Christian Louboutins while attending a screening of “I Am … World Tour” at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City.

Krysten Ritter arrived at the BFF & Baby wrap party in Hollywood wearing a silver sequin Reem Acra mini, Carla Amorim earrings and Valentino peep-toe heels.

Emma Roberts tucked her Zac Posen printed blouse into a pair of the designer’s form-fitting bondage pants for the boutiques.com launch party in New York.

Anna Paquin certainly knows how to work a body-con dress. The True Blood star, who hit the Boutique.com party with her new hubby and co-star Stephen Moyer, looked sexy in a fitted metallic shift with geometric panels. She teamed it with Hollywood’s go-to shoe: the peep-toe Louboutins.

Kate Bosworth got all dolled up for the premiere of The Warrior’s Way in a white floral and lace frock by Erdem and dainty, strappy metallic sandals. The fashion-savvy actress matched the retro-chic look with a vintage-style hairdo and a bright pink lipstick. Swoon!

Jake Gyllenhaal & Anne Hathaway : ‘Barenaked’ On EW !

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway grace the cover—make that three covers—of the latest Entertainment Weekly to discuss their new film Love and Other Drugs, and they’re wearing a lot less clothes than they were in those movie stills! In the film, the actors play two relationship-phobes whose casual fling takes a serious turn. But a big reason the film is getting so much attention is the reported multiple sex scenes. Read on as the duo discuss what it’s like to get it on (and strip down) on camera.

• On their rehearsal process:

Hathaway: “We had two weeks of rehearsal. It was literally the three of us [Gyllenhaal, Hathaway and director Ed Zwick] in a room, playing. And talking about books that moved us.”

Gyllenhaal: “And watching some pretty racy, sexy scenes from movies.”

Hathaway: “And saying, ‘All right, this is turning me on right now!'”

• Gyllenhaal on their chemistry: “There’s, like, this little door that you open up and you’re like, ‘You down?’ ‘Yeah, I’m down—let’s do it.’ And the door closes when the scene ends. Yeah, it’s sexy when we’re doing it. And then it stops. But she could probably talk to a wall and have chemistry.”

• On keeping the sex scenes authentic:

Gyllenhaal: “When you watch these movies about people who supposedly spend the rest of their lives together, it’s always odd to me that the girl, after they’ve slept together four or five times, would have her body covered and be shy in front of the person she’s going to spend the rest of her life with. And then you have the shot of him getting up and you see his butt. There’s always the, like, walk-to-the-shower shot. There’s this weird cliché that happens that’s gotten under the skin of audiences. That’s not a really good cinematic representation of love.”

Hathaway: “Talking about the sheet not being placed just so, Jake and I were in this amazing take, and he turned and caught the sheet and pulled it off me. And I wasn’t going to yell ‘Cut.’ I just thought, ‘Go with it, Hathaway. If it was theatre, you would go with it.’ And I did. And of course that is the take that is in the movie.”

• On being nervous about taking their clothes off:

Hathaway: “I didn’t want to make a big deal about nerves. Of course, there is that revoltingly embarrassing moment when you have to take your clothes off in front of strangers. I mean, I don’t go to the beach in a bikini for a reason.”

Gyllenhaal: “An unfortunate thing for the rest of the world.”

Hathaway: “Aw, thanks. So for me, this role was pretty out-there in terms of the way I usually am in public concerning my body. So I thought, ‘Okay, I’m going to be in control. I’m going to do everything properly, disrobe at the last minute, and in between shots get the clothes back on.’ But then I found that every time I put my robe back on, it rubbed all the body makeup off, and that added 20 minutes to filming. As with all things in life, the second you stop making it about you and you make it about everyone else, it just got, dare I say, fun. There wasn’t anything to be nervous about. It was another scene.”

Having wrapped up her hosting efforts, Anne Hathaway was spotted heading to the SNL afterparty in New York City on Saturday night (November 20).

The “Love and Other Drugs” actress was escorted by security personnel as she joined “Saturday Night Live” cast members for drinks and conversation following the show’s taping.

Anne Hathaway rocked a Miu Miu dress at the American Museum of Natural History’s 2010 Museum Gala on Thursday (November 18) in New York City.

The 28-year-old finished off her look with shoes and bag also from Miu Miu, Bochic earrings and bracelet, and a Fred Leighton ring.

Anne Hathaway : Love & Other ‘Vogue’ !

Anne Hathaway flashes her big smile in a beautiful jewel-toned Oscar de la Renta gown for the November cover of Vogue, photographed by Mario Testino.

Anne’s kicking off her promotional tour for Love and Other Drugs, released Nov. 24, with an open and honest interview about her current relationship with Adam Shulman and the infamous breakup with her con-man ex, Raffaello Follieri.

She’s also sharing about her costar Jake Gyllenhaal and how she handled disrobing for their many nude scenes in the film. Here’s more:

On her nude scenes in Love and Other Drugs: “This movie certainly has a lot of nerve . . . Oy. I hope that audiences are OK with all the nerve. These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off — in a way, their bodies are their currency . . . but they’re terrified of exposing their vulnerability, of becoming emotionally naked.”

On her famous breakup with Raffaello Follieri: “Gosh, I hate talking about the breakup, because I don’t want it to define me, but as is to be expected, there were a lot of lingering trust issues. And I think that making a film about trust that required a great deal of trust — well, it was a challenge to get there.”

Anne’s dealbreakers in a relationship: “Uh . . . fraud? I still believe that people are good. What I’m not so trusting about anymore is their relationship to their own goodness.”

Anne on her new approach to dating: “When I begin a relationship, there’s that pressure to be the most, to be more comfortable and open than anyone else. When you finally realize that you can just be your own scared, f*cked-up self and that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it’s such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough.”

On her current relationship with Adam Shulman: “We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together . . . He thought that I had a boyfriend, and I thought that he had a girlfriend, so I thought that I’d better keep my distance because I didn’t want to be that girl.”

She’s been busy promoting her latest flick, “Love and Other Drugs,” and Anne Hathaway popped in for an interview with Jay Leno on Thursday (November 4).

Dolled up in a black ensemble, the “Devil Wears Prada” babe was all smiles as usual as she sat down with Jay and shared plenty of laughs with the late night host.

Later that day, Anne Hathaway were spotted premiering her new film “Love & Other Drugs”. The super sexy stars all gathered at AFI Fest 2010 for the affair, held at the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

The 27-year-old actress put her shape on show in the figure-hugging frock, which featured lace inset detailing and ruffled hips. She was joined on the red carpet by her co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, who looked dapper in a sharp suit and tie.
