Look Of The Week : Kim, Natalie, Carla, Halle, Hathaway, Alexa, Sarah, Beyonce, Krysten, Emma, Anna, Bosworth

Kim Kardashian chose a ’50s-chic gray sheath (with lace kick pleats!) for a Charmin event.  The entrepreneur should always go retro! The waist-enhancing silhouette of the vintage-inspired number flattered the multitasking star’s timeless curves.

Trust Natalie Portman to pick the simplest outfit and still be the most stunning gal in the room. The Black Swan actress was gorgeous in a little white dress with sheer overlay and bow-tie belt by John Galliano for Dior. A pair of black pumps and smokey eyes was all she needed to add drama to the look.

Carla Gugino stole the spotlight at the Los Angeles premiere of her new action flick, “Faster,” in a shimmering Georges Chakra Couture dress, matching peep-toes, and chic updo. Her outfit is a bit bold (and a bit ice skater-y), but we love it!

Looking radiant in white, Halle Berry wore a stunning strapless dress by Pamella Roland to the screening of her new movie Frankie & Alice in New York. A simple diamond jewel encrusted clutch was all she needed to add a little gleaming polish to her look.

Across the country at NYC’s highly anticipated “Love and Other Drugs” premiere, Anne Hathaway took a risk (that totally paid off) by sporting this cute ‘n’ classy Valentino dress, which featured floral tiers and an enchanting bow.

Alexa Chung moved away from her trademark preppy chic look for something a little more ladylike as she attended the premiere of Love and Other Drugs. The gorgeous Brit worked a delicate silk floral Valentino SS11 dress teamed with pretty bow heels.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s a lady who knows what works for her, and a tailored Vivienne Westwood dress was as-ever, the perfect fit at the Harry Potter New York premiere. The Sex and the City star elongated her petite frame with a volumous skirt that sits just above the ankle to reveal her eye-catching Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Beyonce Knowles looked marvelous in a beaded Naeem Khan mini and strappy Christian Louboutins while attending a screening of “I Am … World Tour” at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City.

Krysten Ritter arrived at the BFF & Baby wrap party in Hollywood wearing a silver sequin Reem Acra mini, Carla Amorim earrings and Valentino peep-toe heels.

Emma Roberts tucked her Zac Posen printed blouse into a pair of the designer’s form-fitting bondage pants for the boutiques.com launch party in New York.

Anna Paquin certainly knows how to work a body-con dress. The True Blood star, who hit the Boutique.com party with her new hubby and co-star Stephen Moyer, looked sexy in a fitted metallic shift with geometric panels. She teamed it with Hollywood’s go-to shoe: the peep-toe Louboutins.

Kate Bosworth got all dolled up for the premiere of The Warrior’s Way in a white floral and lace frock by Erdem and dainty, strappy metallic sandals. The fashion-savvy actress matched the retro-chic look with a vintage-style hairdo and a bright pink lipstick. Swoon!

Look Of The Week : Keira, Eva, Sienna, Beckinsale, McGowan, AnnaLynne, Miranda, Hilary, Freida, Maggie, Ginnifer, Monaghan

Keira Knightley makes her second consecutive appearance in “2 Hot 2 Handle” thanks to the sophisticated cream Chanel dream she donned for the highly anticipated London premiere of “Never Let Me Go.”

Eva Mendes oozed glamour at the Los Angeles Philharmonic opening night gala in a chiffon Christian Dior gown, which featured a plunging neckline and beaded leaf detailing.

Sienna Miller made a super stylish return to the UK after being out in France juding on a film festival panel! Co-hosting a Colin McDowell’s book launch at Somerset House, Sienna posed for pics with her BFF (best fashion friend) Matthew Williamson, wearing one of his newest gowns hot off the SS11 runway. She kept hair and make-up simple to let the dress do all the talking!

Kate Beckinsale is also a fan of blush-colored outfits and wore a wonderful one, courtesy of Nina Ricci, to a special screening of “Nowhere Boy” at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. The Brit beauty accessorized with a vintage cocktail ring, Louboutin peep-toes and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

“Grindhouse” hottie Rose McGowan — who is anti-war but pro-troops — was the epitome of elegance at the recent USO gala in Washington, D.C. in a fashion-forward frock and her signature red lips.

AnnaLynne McCord rocks a LBD like no one else, and the “90210” bad girl wowed us once again at this year’s Homes That Hollywood Built benefit in a conservative yet sexy piece and strappy pumps.

At the recent U.K. premiere of “Despicable Me,” Miranda Cosgrove dressed to impress in an edgy Yigal Azrouel sequined camo mini and bold Giuseppe Zanotti booties. There’s no doubt about it; the 17-year-old “iCarly” star is quickly becoming a style standout!

At the screening for her new movie Conviction in New York Hilary Swank showed off her super-svelte body in a stunning Herve Leger  nude and grey bandage laced dress. The actress kept her accessories simple and pared-down with a grey mini-clutch and open-toed sandal heels.

Letting her natural beauty shine through, Freida Pinto looked picture perfect as she posed for snaps at the Mentoring Lunch at the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York. Going garden party chic in a gorgeous floral detailed Stella McCartney dress, Freida kept her look simple by teaming the dress with tan Ferragamo shoes. Her long locks were long, straight and centre-parted, while make-up was pared-down perfection.

Maggie Q generated some serious heat in a sexy illusion lace design when she attended the New York Comic Con in a tailored coat over a knit dress. She topped the leg-baring mini with a masculine-inspired overcoat—even the hottest beauties get cold!

For the GLSEN Respect Awards in Beverly Hills, Ginnifer Goodwin added Caleo bangles and earrings and a ring from Dana Rebecca Designs to her ruffled ivory tunic

Michelle Monaghan accessorized her chiffon print Isabel Marant dress with a Lanvin chain necklace and suede booties for the Cambodian Children’s Fund charity dinner in Hollywood.

Look Of The Week : Sarah, Naomi, Moss, Julia, Eva, Winslet

Sarah Jessica Parker is always inspiring! The mix master played with texture, pairing a sleek shrunken leather jacket with a lace miniskirt. She then added contrast to the military-inspired look with whimsical pink and gray accessories.

Celebrating 25 years of her dazzling career, Naomi Campbell looked suitably stunning at her Dolce & Gabbana party wearing a multi-textured, strapless black minidress from the label.

Kate Moss closed London Fashion Week in style with a party for her latest collection of bags for Longchamp. The model was sleek and chic in a belted black satin jumpsuit and a clutch from her range. We’re loving the cat-eye make-up!

Julia Roberts was white hot in a Stella McCartney suit at the UK premiere of her latest movie, Eat, Pray, Love. The 41-year-old actress accessorized with SJ Phillips Vintage jewelry (earrings and bracelet), Fauberge diamond bracelet, and Lanvin shoes

At the Paris debut of her film “Eat, Pray, Love,” Julia Roberts was quite the “Pretty Woman” in a draped Lanvin dress cinched at the waist, which she smartly paired with snakeskin Lanvin heels and just a few sparkly jewels.

Eva Longoria got all glammed up to co-host the Par Coeur Gala for charity with her hubby Tony Parker in Paris. We love her lace floor-length gown and her wavy ‘do.

Kate Winslet exuded confidence — and sex appeal — while posing in a one-shoulder frock and nude peep-toes at a Vanity Fair party during the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain. Perhaps it had something to do with her gorgeous new Burberry model boyfriend, Louis Dowler?

Look Of The Week : Cate, Agron, Natalie, Yeoh, Katie

Cate Blanchett kept it simple but gorgeously chic in a black plunging v-neck Alexander McQueen dress. A slick of red lipstick and a neat cropped ‘do were all the accessories she needed to complete her ultra elegant look.

Back in Los Angeles, gorgeous “Glee” co-star Dianna Agron was spotted at a Season 2 premiere screening of the hit musical in a luscious lemon Carolina Herrera dress, Neil Lane jewels, and Louboutin peep-toes.

For a Venice Film Festival event in honor of Black Swan, Natalie Portman paired a plum pleated Miu Miu dress with nude satin Charles David platforms and a quilted Christian Dior clutch.

Our other festival fave was 48-year-old action heroine Michelle Yeoh, who put women half her age to shame at the “Reign of Assassins” premiere in a fabulous Alberta Ferretti frock and statement earrings, courtesy of Boucheron.

Channelling the Jackie O look, Katie Holmes worked the leopard print trend in her outerwear as she prepared to appear on the Tonight Show. Sticking to the rules of print, she kept it simple by teaming the bold trench with a black dress and nude heels. A pair of dark shades were all she needed to give her look a sultry vintage edge.

Look Of The Week : Aniston, Jolie, Maggie, Audrina

Jennifer Aniston is known for showing off her gorgeous gams on the red carpet, and she certainly kept the tradition alive at the LA premiere of “The Switch” in a sweet Lanvin Spring 2010 strapless frock. Fred Leighton jewels, a Ferragamo clutch, and Josie and Lottie strappy sandals completed the former “Friends” star’s stunning look.

Across the pond, Angelina Jolie brought her A-game to the London premiere of “Salt” in an uncharacteristically soft-looking Amanda Wakeley Fall 2010 dress, nude Ferragamo peep-toe pumps, and freshened bangs.
Back in Beverly Hills, Kim Kardashian indulged in a bit of retail therapy while wearing a super-cute, $545 Diane von Furstenberg frock, which she paired with a black patent leather belt, a Balenciaga handbag, and $970 Christian Louboutin suede boots.

The little black dress may be a failsafe option, but Maggie Gyllenhaal’s version by Lanvin looked anything but boring at the New York premiere of Nanny McPhee Returns. The simple shift with asymmetric neckline was punched up with a pair of towering nude platforms (ever the leg-lengtheners) and a slick of red lippy. Delish!

“Hills” alum Audrina Patridge, who opted to rock this $370 asymmetrical David Meister snakeskin print dress and fierce footwear to a recent charity function at LA’s SoHo House.

Look Of The Week : Zac, Vanessa, Drew, Julia, Selma

At a Details event in the Hollywood Hills, a stubble-sporting/more mature-looking Zac Efron — who happens to be the mag’s September cover boy — paired his simple yet chic ensemble with arm candy in the form of gal pal Vanessa Hudgens, who also looked lovely in a LBD and sky-high heels.

Once a wild child and terrible dresser, Drew Barrymore has quietly become one of Hollywood’s most respected actresses and style mavens. At a star-studded soiree on Tuesday night, the 35-year-old took a retro fashion risk (that paid off) in a vintage chain mail frock and nude Yves St. Laurent platform pumps.

Across the coast at the NY premiere of “Eat Pray Love,” the film’s star, Julia Roberts, rocked the red carpet (for the first time in a long time) by showing off her gorgeous gams in Diane von Furstenberg shorts and Roger Vivier sandals. A Stella McCartney blazer and Coomi bangle bracelets completed her look.

Call us crazy, but we’re kinda in love with the beautifully understated look Selma Blair delivered upon arriving at the premiere of “Middle Men.” The former “Hellboy” babe’s strapless Stella McCartney organza dress and $700 Alexander McQueen peep-toes made for the perfect pair.

A-list actress Nicole Kidman stunned in a chartreuse Prada dress that accentuated her wavy red locks, and nude Christian Louboutin heels.
