Jennifer Lawrence was white hot in a Thakoon dress, Irit jewels , Versace bag, and Louboutin shoes.

Mia Wasikowska was dubbed Best Breakthrough Actress and had chosen a cute metallic Proenza Schouler dress for the occasion.

Seasoned star Jodie Foster proved she knows a thing or two about how to put together a winning red carpet look, and we love her elegant ability to layer tones of the same shade. Her jewel-coloured Dolce & Gabbana shift was the perfect fit, while her bouncy blowdry gave a polished finish.

Minnie Driver worked an LBD with a difference for the night of film festivities. She matched the strong-shouldered mini with jewel-embellished heels and statement earrings.

Heather Graham went nude at the Annual Hollywood Awards Gala in this floaty chiffon number, which was given some added glam-factor courtesy of a lipstick-red clutch and metallic heels.

Rashida Jones added strappy gold sandals to her J. Mendel number from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

Look Of The Week : Emma, Dita, Minnie, Cassidy, Hurley, Mila, Michelle, Claire, Olivia, Cheryl, Nicky, Moss

Emma Roberts celebrated the opening of a Munich Escada store in an iridescent sequined dress from the brand and Brian Atwood peep-toes.

It was a night of glamour for Dita von Teese, who looked stunning poised at her dressing table creation in a ruby-red off-the-shoulder silk Moschino gown at the launch of the My Private Cointreau Coffret. Ever the vintage queen, she worked it with glossy pin curls and bold red lips.

Minnie Driver successfully donned a bright blue Marchesa gown, which featured an embellished neckline and short train, at “Conviction’s” U.K. debut.

Sparkles are all the rage this fall and Katie Cassidy is clearly a fan of the trend. The former “Melrose Place” minx stole the spotlight in a sequined Elie Tahari stunner at the grand opening of the designer’s NYC boutique.

ELizabeth Hurley posed for photographs during a breast cancer awareness function in a fabulously fitted, cranberry-colored frock, chunky cuff, and nude peep-toes.

Mila Kunis promoted Black Swan at the London Film Festival in a stretch leather skirt paired with a rhinestone-embellished blouse.

Channelling that vintage Marilyn Monroe vibe for her new movie, Michelle Williams hit the LFF red carpet for the premiere of Blue Valentine, in a ladylike, sizzling red lace, mid-sleeved Erdem dress. With a hit of leopard print in her pumps and a neat box clutch purse, Michelle has gone for a Hitchcock heroine look and we LOVE it!

Claire Danes walked the red carpet at the London Film Festival premiere of The King’s Speech in a Prada dress. Time for a guest spot on Mad Men? Claire embodied retro femininity in a nipped-waist dress with a full skirt. She finished the look with patent pumps and a playful heart bracelet.

The ever-stylish Olivia Palermo gave us a lesson in making our wardrobe staples winter-ready as she wandered out and about in New York. The socialite worked a smart all black look, and gave her outfit added finesse by mixing textures in wet-look skinnies, a sleek blazer and shaggy fur gilet. Her favourite Chanel pumps added a subtle colour pop.

Leaving an interview at the Radio 1 studios, Cheryl Cole worked a cool casual combo of suede hiking boots, grey skinny jeans and a statement chain and lace detail jacket by Mulberry.

Nicky Hilton hit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere party in a leopard-print dress accented with a black clutch and pumps and rings from her own Nicky Hilton jewelry collection.

Kate Moss is one lady who knows how to make an entrance! Sporting a fab new fringe, La Moss arrived at the launch party for pal Bryan Ferry’s new album having of course, modelled for its front cover. The model went for an all black ensemble in skinny black trousers worn under a luxurious vintage-style fur and velvet frock coat – which really showed off her the rich shade of her lovely blonde locks.

Brittany Snow & Mischa Barton : Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic !

Brittany Snow and Mischa Barton stepped out at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles held at Will Rogers State Historic Park on Sunday (October 10) in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Brittany bloomed in a floral strapless dress, flat sandals, and pulled-back hair. She completed her look with Joan Hornig jewelry.

Brittany has been speaking out in her Love is Louder campaign to combat bullying!

Meanwhile, Mischa Barton made a brave attempt at 20s chic – but the result was more flapper girl failure !

Mischa, who is fast becoming better known for her sartorial disasters than for her acting prowess, wore an unflattering black dress cut to just below the knee teamed with what looked like a dead raccoon on her head.

At least the hat, which was made of black and white feathers, covered some of her hair – which had been dyed an unflattering bright  blonde and looked in dire need of a deep conditioning treatment.

And while the flat two-tone pumps were probably a wise move to avoid the heels-stuck-in-the-grass situation – they did little to lift the fomer OC star’s unfortunate outfit choice and left her legs looking dumpy.

Also hanging out at the polo was Minnie Driver, 40, wearing a strapless floral number accompanied with possibly the world’s smallest handbag.
