Rashida Jones mixed denim for the event. The actress paired a relaxed jacket and tailored trousers with bowed heels and a chain necklace.

Nicky Hilton showed up in an edgy yet ladylike leather LBD. Her dress featured a high-neck and A-line skirt, but the material made it totally badass.

Jessica Stam opted for an attention-grabbing sparkly LBD, which was appropriate since she was the hostess for the evening.

Nicollette Sheridan totally missed the mark in a bizarre all black get-up. The 47-year-old wore a strange fur panelled mini skirt and a heavily embroidered shirt. She decided on a pair of pastel pink suede peep toe shoes which looked terrible against her black opaque tights. Not helping the overall look Sheridan wore her hair pulled back tightly from her face and minimal make-up.

Shannen Doherty looked wild in her leather black vest, black pants and suede knee-high boots.

Jaime King tried to dress her ‘The Archive 1887’ tee with some SERIOUS earrings, a long metallic scarf, and a swipe of bright red lipstick. So overdone !

Transformers 2 star Isabel Lucas was feeling rather colorful at the premiere of Sofia Coppola’s new film Somewhere. Her shimmery floor-length skirt definitely made a statement.

Fashion renegade Erin Wasson, who has a small role in Sofia’s new flick, hit the premiere in an outfit that kind of looked like a disco pajama jumpsuit. Does she deserve props for going the distance, or what?

Chloe Sevigny had a hit look in a roomy plaid shirtdress and hard-edged black patent leather booties. We’re digging the cut on Chloe—she should always show off that much leg.

2010 British Fashion Awards

Victoria Beckham was uber-chic at the British Fashion Awards, held at London’s Savoy Hotel, in a long black gown of her own design. The super-star, who was flying solo at the event, lost out on the Designer Brand gong, but enjoyed the evening nonetheless, rubbing shoulders with Samantha Cameron, who has just joined the British Fashion Council as an advisor for London Fashion Week as of next February. The PM’s wife, who recently gave birth to daughter Florence, looked fantastic in a waist-cinching Osman Yousefzada gown.

Naomi Campbell was stunning at the British Fashion Awards in a carpet-sweeping gown by Alexander McQuuen. The supermodel was awarded the Special Recognition gong at the ceremony, paid homage to the late designer, and thanked the label’s current creative director, Sarah Burton, for making not one but two dresses for her to choose from for the evening. On stage Naomi also thanked her mother, Valerie Campbell, and her partner, Vladimir Doronin, for putting up with a “wild woman”.

A Chanel-clad Alexa Chung was crowned Style Icon of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. The gong, which was the only one to be voted on by the British public, was presented to her by singer Bryan Ferry.

Despite the bitter cold, a host of celebrities were spotted in spring/summer outfits, including Thandie Newton who teamed a pretty printed Peter Pilotto frock with super-strappy sandals by Nicholas Kirkwood (who picked up the Accessory Designer of the Year award).

German supermodel Claudia Schiffer rocked an asymmetrical cream, bronze and navy frock by London-based designer Mary Katrantzou. Opaque black leggings and snug black booties helped her to brave the wintery weather in style.

Emma Roberts showed a surprising bit of skin in a flirty little Julien MacDonald frock. She kept the short length from looking too scandalous with opauq black tights and black peep-toe ankle booties.

Calvin Klein spokesmodel Lara Stone slipped into a starkly minimalist little white sheath and black strappy sandals. It would have been nice to see her command the red carpet in an over-the-top ballgown, but she looked fantastic all the same.

Daisy Lowe chose a dramatic black gown by Elie Saab and a matching Gothic-style clutch by Pauric Sweeney for the British Fashion Awards, where she caught up with A-list pals Alexa Chung and Alice Dellal.

Kelly Brook probably felt a night has been wasted if she hasn’t turned some heads. It’s safe to say this over-the-top corseted Suzie Turner dress did the trick, especially paired with those Jimmy Choo cage heels.

You may not recognise model Lily Cole because she’s had a hair makeover. The leggy lady has gone from flame red to chocolate brown and looked super-sexy at the event in a Julien Macdonald dress.

Professional ballroom dancer Kristina Rhianoff opted to wear a whimsical feathered strapless dress that might have been nabbed from the Dancing With the Stars wardrobe department.

Erin O’Connor looked retro chic in this lovely print chiffon cocktail dress. She also showed off a classic French twist.

Look Of The Week : Angelina, Katy, Wilde, Beau, Eva, Carey, Ricci, Saoirse, Emma, Anne, Zaldana, Wright

She hasn’t been spotted on a red carpet since “Salt’s” debut last summer, but Angelina Jolie made a triumphant return to the arrivals line Monday night at the world premiere of “The Tourist.” The box office beauty oozed glamour in her Atelier Versace gown — which featured a sexy, thigh-high slit — Ferragamo heels, simple earrings, and a dramatic ‘do.

Katy Perry appeared at another star-studded premiere that same night. The pop songstress strutted her stuff in an ethereal Elie Saab gown during the Los Angeles debut of “The Tempest,” which features her new hubby, Russell Brand.

Across the pond at the London premiere of “Tron: Legacy,” Olivia Wilde turned heads in a multi-colored Giorgio Armani dress, black Stella McCartney pumps, and jewels courtesy of Tiffany.

Olivia Wilde was also glowing at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Tron: Legacy. The actress channeled her inner disco diva by donning a gold sequined Pucci gown, which featured a keyhole neckline.

Right behind Olivia in the arrivals line … fellow “TRON: Legacy” looker Beau Garrett, who nearly upstaged her co-star in a burnt orange Giambattista Valli gown and nude platform peep-toes.

Meanwhile in Marrakech, Morocco (at the country’s international film festival), actress Eva Mendes attended the Tribute to the French Cinema in a golden Christian Dior gown. Freshly highlighted locks and an amber cocktail ring completed her flawless look.

Eva dialed down her sexy look for a very pretty look at the official photocall for the 2010 Marrakech Film Festival. She wore an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 dress. The white silk voile and lace embroidered dress was accented with a black ribbon. Nude pumps completed her 3rd look of this film festival.

Carey Mulligan has gone from strength to strength in the style department and her latest gown-outing at the BIFAs in London proved her winning credentials! Working a stunning red Prabal Gurung gown with ruffled corsage bodice, Ms Mulligan picked up the Best Actress Award for her role in Never Let Me Go. Carey, we salute you!

Carey Mulligan was spectacular in a floor-length Erdem gown and a bouffant beehive at the King’s Speech gala in Dubai. We love the fact that she’s eschewed all jewellery save a cocktail ring and kept make-up to a minimum to let the dress really do the talking.

Around the corner at the 2010 New York Stage and Film Winter Gala, Christina Ricci dropped jaws in an ombre-and-lace Zac Posen halter dress. The perfect hairdo, smoky eyes, and Yves St. Laurent patent leather pumps completed her flawless look.

Gorgeous Irish actress Saoirse Ronan paired an ethereal nude dress with chunky black heels at the Paris premiere of her new film, The Way Back. The stunning 16-year-old paired the edgy look with a very interesting hairstyle.

Emma Roberts — who you’ll soon see on the big screen in “Scream 4” — attended the 2010 British Independent Film Awards in a surprisingly affordable maxi dress, which retails for $160 at Topshop. What a steal!

Anne Hathaway sparkled in an embellished mini and patent leather sky-high heels at a “Love & Other Drugs” press conference in Sydney, Australia.

Is midnight blue the new black? Avatar star Zoe Saldana attended the Children’s Defense Fund gala in LA working a divine deep blue layered minidress with sheer shoulder detailing. She gave her look plenty of leg with some stacked patent platform pumps. Perfect!

Harry Potter starlet Bonnie Wright was fashion-forward at a cocktail party celebrating the launch of the new Miu Miu flagship store on London’s Bond Street in a black dress with leafy detailing from the fashion house’s spring/summer collection and a pair of teal platform pumps. Quirky, cool and oh-so-pretty.

Paz de la Huerta : ‘Stripped’ On Paper Winter

Boardwalk Empire star Paz de la Huerta covers herself as she poses topless on the cover of Paper magazine’s Winter 2010-2011 issue, on newsstands today (December 13)!

Here’s what the 26-year-old actress had to share:

On nudity: “Nudity is a non-issue for me. Sex is a huge part of life. To pretend it’s not is being a liar, and people who are afraid of their sexuality are suffering.”

On being expelled from school after fighting back against bullies: “I broke a chair over a girl’s head. That was it. I thought it was a horrible school. They had some evil teachers. I always hated school.”

On wanting to move to Europe someday: “They write roles for mature women in Europe. Americans — they don’t get it. They make women look ugly. Then they all make fun of them. It’s really a cruel culture. I’m half European and I feel more European than American inside. I’m a Spanish woman. I’m in the wrong country and wrong era.”

Emily Blunt : Bazaar January ‘Exotic’

Emily Blunt looked breath-taking on the January 2011 cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK wearing an electric blue embroidered silk dress by Tom Ford.

The rest of her editorial which was shot by Paola Kudacki sees her wearing more Spring 2011 looks including a two tone Gucci dress, an orange Haider Ackermann dress, a tangerine YSL jumpsuit and another dress by Tom Ford.

The full feature appears in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK which is on sale December 6, but here are some extracts from her interview.

On adjusting to fame: “I used to look like a deer in headlights on the red carpet. You step out of the car and it’s bedlam. Everyone’s got crazy eyes. Now, I have a martini before I leave – just to take the edge off it.”

On her husband “The Office” star John Krasinski: “Yes, he’s the funniest man in the world to most, but especially to me.”

On her very public relationship and subsequent split from singer Michael Buble: “It’s why I don’t ever talk about John. When you’re in love, you’re so happy that you want to tell people about it. But now I have to censor myself. You need to protect the happiness you have.”

On how she relaxes: “In my downtime, I cook a mean roast chicken, and if I need to let off steam, I go dancing.”
