The 23-year-old Golden Globe nominee shared a funny experience she had while hosting Saturday Night Live!

“I gave [the cast] goldfish, to say thank you…right at the end credits, when you clap, we’re standing up on the stage and Abby Elliott, who is amazing, whispers in my ear, ‘Hey, good job! My goldfish died.’ I was, like, euggghhh – I’d given it to them right before the show and I’m pretty sure that most of their goldfish were dead by the end of the show.”

“I was, like, ‘Sorry for burdening you with these dead fish – thanks for having me!’” Emma laughed.

On girl power: “Every woman has the ability or the drive to do it all and have it all. Men aren’t as strong and capable as we are. We’re machines.”

On balancing work and motherhood: “My life is cyclical. First it’s album time, then it’s touring time. I go through phases, so we roll with the punches. I’m not a 9-to-5 woman who has the same kind of lifestyle for years on end. I couldn’t do it. I need the spontaneity, that thrill of change. That’s part of how I get inspired. You know, this is what the cards have in store for Max. We put it into his brain early on that he’s a traveling guy. He adapts well when we go from hotel to hotel.”

Close friend Nicole Richie, on Christina: “It’s very clear through Christina’s music what a strong woman she is. But to watch her as a mother only skyrockets the respect I have for her. Christina on her style and signature red lips: “I was jealous of all the boys on Burlesque because they always had combat boots, but they’d never come in my size . . . Not everything has to be pushed up and out . . . I like to keep my options going. I get bored with the same old thing . . . It’s become my thing, you know? One of my signatures . . . It’s such an accent, red being a favourite colour of mine, throughout the house. You can see red touches everywhere, from the hangers to the chandeliers, to the accents in the carpets.”

Christina on her sexuality: “That’s where the bondage and latex came in for Not Myself Tonight, because sexuality is such a freedom. Sexuality is where I feel a lot of times I get to express my voice. Throughout the ages, women are always shamed for it or labelled for it and so it makes me feel empowered to give it a voice and to stand up for it and to be strong about it.”

On Sunday (November 21), Christina Aguilera and her new beau Matthew Rutler hold hands as they step out of their hotel in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old entertainer was on her way to the American Music Awards, where she performed “Express,” from her movie Burlesque.

On Wednesday (November 17), Christina Aguilera performed “Bound to You,” a ballad she wrote for her film Burlesque, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The 29-year-old singer and actress also sat down to discuss her new life as a single mom since splitting with husband Jordan Bratman.

She’s also sharing about her costar Jake Gyllenhaal and how she handled disrobing for their many nude scenes in the film. Here’s more:

On her nude scenes in Love and Other Drugs: “This movie certainly has a lot of nerve . . . Oy. I hope that audiences are OK with all the nerve. These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off — in a way, their bodies are their currency . . . but they’re terrified of exposing their vulnerability, of becoming emotionally naked.”

On her famous breakup with Raffaello Follieri: “Gosh, I hate talking about the breakup, because I don’t want it to define me, but as is to be expected, there were a lot of lingering trust issues. And I think that making a film about trust that required a great deal of trust — well, it was a challenge to get there.”

Anne’s dealbreakers in a relationship: “Uh . . . fraud? I still believe that people are good. What I’m not so trusting about anymore is their relationship to their own goodness.”

Anne on her new approach to dating: “When I begin a relationship, there’s that pressure to be the most, to be more comfortable and open than anyone else. When you finally realize that you can just be your own scared, f*cked-up self and that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it’s such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough.”

On her current relationship with Adam Shulman: “We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together . . . He thought that I had a boyfriend, and I thought that he had a girlfriend, so I thought that I’d better keep my distance because I didn’t want to be that girl.”

She’s been busy promoting her latest flick, “Love and Other Drugs,” and Anne Hathaway popped in for an interview with Jay Leno on Thursday (November 4).

Dolled up in a black ensemble, the “Devil Wears Prada” babe was all smiles as usual as she sat down with Jay and shared plenty of laughs with the late night host.

Later that day, Anne Hathaway were spotted premiering her new film “Love & Other Drugs”. The super sexy stars all gathered at AFI Fest 2010 for the affair, held at the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

The 27-year-old actress put her shape on show in the figure-hugging frock, which featured lace inset detailing and ruffled hips. She was joined on the red carpet by her co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, who looked dapper in a sharp suit and tie.

Kicking off another work week,  Jessica Szohr turned up on the set of “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Monday (October 18).

Donning quite the interestingly clashing ensemble, the Vanessa Abrams actress chatted on her cell phone while preparing to shoot scenes with co-stars Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford.

The day’s work outing comes just as Miss Szohr’s on/off beau Ed Westwick offered up an interview to Bang Showbiz about how he’s only ever loved one woman – his mother.

Leaving Jess out of the conversation, Ed dished, “I’ve only been in love once – with my mom. There’s only one woman in my life. Am I a mummy’s boy? Absolutely. I love her.”

Continuing on, Westwick told, “I was a 24/7 stud. It came effortlessly, girls were dripping off me. No, not at all. I’m joking. I was jealous of one of my friends at school because he was always dating the older, good-looking girls. That never happened to me.”

He adds, ” I like girls who can hold a conversation – and a pretty face doesn’t hurt. But I don’t have a type. I’ve been attracted to girls and it is not about looks. You get that connection and sometimes it’s totally involuntary.”

Also on set was Taylor Momsen, she wore  thigh-high grey boots and a trendy fall outfit, the Jenny Humphrey actress stayed focused while shooting her scenes for the hit CW show on its Manhattan, New York City set.

In other news, the outspoken 17-year-old babe recently shocked readers as she gave an in-depth interview for Revolver magazine during which she revealed her love of pornography and admitted to watching sex tapes.

Of this, Momsen told, “If it’s a good sex tape, I’ll watch it … I like some adult stars. I have a couple (of) favourites. But I will say this: that Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson video wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t f**k Tommy Lee.”

Taylor, Leighton & Penn : O.M.G !

Showing up for another day on the job, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, and Taylor Momsen were spotted in New York City today (September 2).

The CW cuties strolled around the lot in between filming scenes for their hit show “Gossip Girl” as the nearby paparazzi looked on.

As usual, Taylor Momsen arrived to work in a barely-there ensemble of tiny shorts, ripped tights, and an Iron Maiden t-shirt.

Meanwhile, Leighton, on the other hand, looked chic, summery, and fun in edgy grommet shorts and bright orange sunglasses. Better get your fill of hot-weather fashion now, L! Autumn boots and sweaters are right around the corner.
